Due to surprise – and very welcome – houseguests, Part 3 of the Entrepreneurial Marketing “trilogy” will be published next week. I also have a great new interview with a business owner from New Orleans that I’ll feature as well. For now, here are some of my favorite stories and resources from the last seven days.
- Chicago Magazine, essay by Myra Janco Daniels. I Married a Mad Man (Even Mad Men series creator has called Draper Daniels “one of the great copy guys” and has said fictional Don Draper is based on Daniels.)
- Copyblogger. Authority Rules: The 10 Rock Solid Elements of Effective Online Marketing (Free report. You don’t have to sign up for anything and you don’t have to give your email address. It’s available to read on the Web or as a PDF.)
- Quips and Tips. 8 Different Tips for Promoting Your Blog (Tips you haven’t seen plastered on the Interwebs before.)
- Sodcutter. People You Should Know About (This blog is written by a former co-worker who is very talented and always has an interesting perspective.)
Did you read anything that particularly stuck with you this week? Share, please! The floor is yours.
I haven’t had time to suss out any interesting blog posts this week — but I wanted to say thanks for including my “different tips for promoting your blog” here!
A writer friend who is just starting her blog asked me to write it, and I procrastinated for a couple of weeks….there is SO MUCH info out there, repeated over and over. I was hoping to offer at least one new tip 🙂
Cheers,
Laurie
