Nose in books

June 5, 2011 — , ,

I’m going back to Aspen this year and the pre-workshop requirement is reading a stack of memoirs. While I’m an avid reader, it’s demanding a pretty quick clip to get these read before June 19. Since this limits my blogging time, I thought I’d share my reading list with you.

·      Susan Cheever, Home Before Dark and Note Found in a Bottle
·      Frank Conroy, Stop Time
·      Erica Jong, Fear of Fifty
·      Mary Karr, Lit: A Memoir
·      Mary McCarthy, Memories of a Catholic Girlhood and Intellectual Memoirs
·      Frank McCourt, Angela’s Ashes

I had already read a few of these, but some titles are new to me. What about you?

What do you think?
